A number of days ago, federal agents in Denver, CO foiled a plot on United States soil which posed a severe threat to the U.S. Last Tuesday, a resident of the U.S. (Afghan nationality), pled not guilty to contributing to the plot. Charges like conspiracy and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. He is thought and belived to have training in making of bombs with Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda had plans with others in the United States to have a terrorist attack in New York City. This has been recorded as the most deadly and most serious plot in the past 8 years since September, 11.
There has been a growing number of Americans have gone to Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). Joining the jihad in Afghanistan is something which was very rare until recently. So, basically people from our country are joining Al Qaeda because they hate our government. What is the cause of this all of a sudden treason? Will the new elections help it die down?
